Mission Statement

The mission of the Council is to function as the primary advocate for Warren County residents with disabilities, their families, and their caregivers, by acting in an advisory capacity to the Warren County Department of Human Services hereafter known as the “Department” through the Division of Aging & Disability Services hereafter known as the “Division”.

The Purpose of the Council 

  • To identify resources and services available to residents with disabilities, their families and their caregivers

  • To identify the unmet needs of residents with disabilities, their families, and their caregivers

  • To advise the Division and Department on the most effective, efficient, and equitable use of available resources to meet the identified needs of county residents with disabilities

  • To develop and disseminate information on disability-related issues and to promote public awareness through educational programs, sensitivity training and outreach

Meeting Schedule:

The Warren County Advisory Council on Disabilities will hold six meetings in 2025.  The Council meets the 2nd Thursday on an alternating month basis beginning in February of each year.
