The Warren County Tourism and Economic Growth Committee was established by a resolution of the Warren County Board of County Commissioners in February 2026 and replaced the Economic Development Committee that was established in 2016.

The Committee’s mission it to promote, develop, and sustain tourism in Warren County by showcasing the County’s natural beauty, cultural heritage, historic sites, and local businesses, enhancing the quality of life for residents and generating sustainable economic growth for the community.

This advisory committee will help to coordinate and implement initiatives that boost tourism in Warren County; serve as a liaison between government, local businesses, historical societies, and community organizations; identify and promote tourism opportunities across all seasons; and preserve the County’s natural, historical, environmental, cultural and economic assets while enhancing visitor experiences.

Information about tourism attractions and things to do for visitors and residents alike is available at ExploreWarren.org, the website of the Explore Warren County Tourism Partnership run by County government. Connect with other county, regional and state tourism entities here.

Committee members come from throughout the County and represent a cross-section of business and tourism-related areas, including agriculture and agri-tourism, hospitality, history, and attractions, while also including representatives from local government, education, and organizations that represent local businesses.

The Tourism and Economic Growth Committee meets online using the Teams platform on the second Thursday of each month unless otherwise noted, beginning at 8:15 a.m. The public is invited to attend these online meetings. Login information and the agenda can be found in the calendar section of this website.
