Warren County marked the 24th anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001, as students from the Warren County Technical School gathered at the Warren County Emergency Services and 9/11 Memorial to honor and remember the events of that fateful day.
Commissioner James R. Kern III was invited to lay the memorial wreath with Warren County Fire Academy Training Coordinator Brian
Kostenbader.
The Emergency Services and 9/11 Memorial, which is accessible to the public, is located at 1500 State Highway 57, Washington, NJ, between the Warren County Technical School and the Warren County Community College.
The Memorial is dedicated in honor of the Warren County residents who lost their lives in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New York City. It also honors the Warren County Police, Fire and EMS personnel who have died in the line of duty while protecting the citizens of Warren County and their property.
All of those that have perished will always be remembered for their courage, the act of sacrificing their own interests for the greater good and above all for the caring that they showed to another human being.
