Museum Tours & Rev War Day

Huzzah! The 2nd NJ will be taking over the Manor! See how soldiers would have occupied the house and grounds while in the area. There will be lots of hands-on activities for kids too. We're excited to be part of Warren County's (ext. 1825) Bicentennial celebration.
Museum tours begin at 11am, with the last tour beginning at 3:30pm. During the day, the 2nd NJ will provide historical interpretation, displays, and firing demonstrations (between 12pm-3:30pm, weather permitted). Our displays will represent the Revolutionary history of our Shippens and their roles in the American Revolution.

Our back parking and driveways will be closed to vehicles for this event. There is limited on-site parking in our small Belvidere Ave. parking lot with two designated h/c parking spaces closest to the boardwalk.
Please exercise caution when walking on our driveways as the surface consists of loose rock and wheelchairs will have difficulty.
There is parking in town. Please do not park in restricted spaces. Free off-site parking is available on Washington Ave. (past the stone Methodist church) and Kent Street lot. Wall Street has a time limit for parking and the hill is much steeper from that point to the Manor.
Family friendly.
Free admission.
