Museum tours begin at 1pm. Last tours begin at 3:30pm. The museum closes at 4pm.

John Dunado, from the Rockaway Township Historical Society, is our last "Shippen Talks" speaker for the season. John will be discussing iron manufacturing in north Jersey, including a special connection between the Oxford and Rockaway iron industries. The RTHS is affiliated with the Ford-Faesch House, the ironmaster's residence built in the 18th c. by Col. Jacob Ford, Jr. (1726-1799).

Limited on-site parking (including two designated handicap parking spaces closest to the boardwalk). Our driveway and back parking are closed for the time being until construction is completed.
