Who We Are

The Division of Administration is responsible for monitoring county, state, and federal funding for human service programs. Each year, more than $3 million is allocated to a variety of community-based programs serving county residents of all ages.

What We Do

Funded services include substance use and mental health treatment programs, child day care, middle-school youth services, respite programs for the developmentally disabled, information and referral, emergency food and shelter, legal services, and transportation.

How We Can Help

The Division also develops plans to identify service needs and gaps in the current delivery system. Efforts are continuously made to provide more efficient and effective services throughout Warren County. Volunteer advisory boards assisting the Division in funding and planning decisions include:  

Casino Revenue Public Hearing

 The Casino Revenue grant application is submitted to NJ Transit for review and approval each year to provide funding for capital, operating, and/or administrative expenses for locally coordinated paratransit services for senior citizens and people with disabilities. A public presentation of the budget of expenses and transportation goals for the new grant cycle is held as required by the grant.  Any questions concerning the grant application or funding may be directed to Human Services at 908-475-6331 or via Email.

 The Warren County Department of Human Services, Division of Administration will be holding a public hearing on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 12:00 pm to discuss the 2025 Casino Revenue Grant Application.  This hearing will be held in person at the Warren County Southwest Library Branch, 404 County Route 519, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865 and virtually via Microsoft Teams Meeting ID: 212 720 454 599, Passcode: LQErRk, or dial in by phone: 1-856-403-7749 Phone Conference ID: 862648216.
